CREEC - Caboolture Region Environmental Education Centre
Located on Rowley Road, Burpengary. This 18Ha site contains three regional ecosystems, and is home to an array of wildlife and plant species. Nestled in the heart of the site, is an Interpretive Environmental Centre, with displays depicting the natural surrounds, and a Community Nursery with Native Plants, and great local knowledge. The Grounds are accessible all year round, dawn to dusk.

Kumbartcho Sanctuary
A Sanctuary for Wildlife and Plants. Many animals may be observed here because of the variety of plant communities, the permanent water of the lagoon, and the nearby South Pine River, which serves as an important wildlife corridor.
