OSPREY MANGROVES.jpg

Welcome to The Mangroves are My Home, a new education program for children aged 3 to 5 years at Osprey House Environment Centre!

Mangroves are a common habitat along the coast and rivers of Moreton Bay. This dynamic learning program investigates the animals that live there and their role in the food chain.

In each 45-minute session your child will learn about life in the mangrove trees through story time, themed craft, and games. The program is on Fridays throughout the second school term, with each week focusing on a different animal from the food chain.

The sessions work independently so you can pick and choose which sessions best suit you. However, we encourage you to attend all sessions so that your child can learn about the entire mangrove food chain.

Tickets are free but bookings are essential.

Parent participation is welcome. You must remain onsite and supervise your children throughout the session.

Bring a water bottle, insect repellent and morning tea to enjoy after the session in our barbeque area.

DATES: 19 APRIL, 26 APRIL, MAY 3, MAY 10

TICKETS: aumbrc.sales.ticketsearch.com/sales/salesevent/131407

BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL.
